Vaseem Khan is Senior Vice President, Global Operations for McDermott. 

In this role, Vaseem leads McDermott’s operations worldwide including global quality and HSE, engineering and supply chain centers in India and fabrication facilities in China, Indonesia, and Mexico. Vaseem additionally oversees the company’s energy transition strategy and partner relationships; knowledge and innovation; and digital-and data-driven initiatives.

Vaseem has over 35 years of experience in engineering, construction and project delivery, and has held positions in onshore and offshore engineering, site and completions management, project management and regional operations in several countries.

During his eight years with McDermott, Vaseem has held leadership positions including Global Head of Engineering and Commissioning; Vice President Operations Performance and Digital; and Senior Advisor, Offshore for the company. Prior to McDermott, Vaseem was the Regional Senior Vice President of Middle East operations with Technip (now Technip Energies).

Vaseem holds a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Minnesota where his post graduate research was in heat transfer and fluid mechanics. He also attended an international business management program at Royal Holloway College, London.
